I have always been an observer, and fascinated by how we interact with our 'environs' / surroundings.

My camera has enabled me to explore this, as I move through the urban landscapes of the cities and countries I visit. Billboards, signs, posters, street furniture - all become characters within the stories I capture. Their unobtrusive juxtaposition often inject irony or rye humour into these vignettes of life - albeit unwittingly to the humans going about their day to day.

Through street photography I've developed a language and nuance to capturing decisive moments where these interactions pique.

'environs' is a small collection of some of those moments.
